My Meeting with Theo

Hi everyone
Have you seen our latest designs? They launched last Friday
and what a success they have been so far. Which one is your favorite? We have three beautiful designs tailed for Mother’s Day and a beautiful clock design to capture your moments when time stood still. Don’t forget Valentines in just over a week away too!

What a week it’s been!

As most of you know I traveled to Birmingham last Thursday,
although what would normally be a 2 hour trip it ended up taking almost a 5 hours. Fortunately I was fully equipped with a duvet, shovel, thermals and a flask of homemade soup – thankfully!
Half hour into the journey I found myself traveling 3mph through inches of snow that was falling thick and fast on the roads.
It was a pretty horrific experience, as I hate driving in snow, but
I was determined to get there even if it had taken me all night!
I eventually arrived and met up with some of the other #SBS winners for a lovely evening at Wagamamas before the big event with Theo Paphitis following day.

Meeting Theo was an overwhelming experience as I shook his hand
and presented him with a TOL frame and mug. The whole day seemed
to go so quick but I met some amazing small businesses and listened
to some extremely inspirational speakers. I was buzzing on the journey home (with no snow….phew!)

On my return home I received a lovely tweet and photo from Jungle winner Carl Forgety who loved his gifts.

Finally, in my last blog I mentioned about a TOL creation for
a school in Africa which I promised to show you once I had finalised the design. Caroline travels to Africa next week where she will be teaching and studying, I’m sure it will be an amazing experience and wish her a safe journey and a wonderful time.
