Our Little Miracles

Sian & Lee

Last year my partner and I went through a very tough and traumatic time during the birth of our two beautiful baby boys (December 2013) at only 29 weeks old. They were extremely poorly, both weighing as little as 3lb each. The love and support we received from our family and friends really helped us through these difficult months, and we were so relieved to finally have our gorgeous little boys come home!

A TOL frame was created to treasure those first memories and we are so proud to share our amazing miracle babies Issac & Finley to the world.

Help Our Heroes

Phil Bugg

I am currently serving with the Royal Air Force, seeing first hand what our troops are going through. To show my support i am driving 2500 miles in a clapped out banger through europe with 28 other cars, all in aid of Help for Heroes.

TOL has kindly designed and donated a Help for Heroes frame as a prize which will be given on the last day of the race. Thanks TOL for noticing everything the forces do and go through on a daily basis.

Survivor

Dawn Berry

My TOL frame was given as a gift for my birthday from my best friend! So thoughtful! When she left I read the words properly and cried! I beat cancer in 2006 so the words were very powerful and meant a lot! And to see them there printed on paper made it seem even more real! I forget sometimes what I actually went through so it’s nice to be told I’m ‘strong’ and ‘brave’ I’m exactly what it says ‘SURVIVOR’

The Proposal

Jess & Adam

For my 21st birthday present I dropped a few not so subtle hints to my boyfriend, Adam, that I wanted a TOL frame I had fallen in love with. Adam said no, and that once we got a house we could have some wall art. Two days before my 21st Adam suggested we go for a drink as one of my presents. So off we went, but the whole night he was acting a bit odd. After being in the bar awhile he said “what if I told you this wasn’t your present and that there was one waiting for you at home.” I was off! When we got in our house I was blown away! There were rose petals all on the floor, candles lit and our song playing, as well as a present on the bed. When I opened it I was in awe! It was the TOL frame that I wanted :-). But when I looked closer I was close to tears. Within the design were the words ‘Will You Marry Me’ and he got down on one knee and pulled out the ring. I was so ecstatic and couldn’t believe it! I am the happiest woman in the world!

Loving Memory

Dot & Tom

I bought my nan and granddad a canvas for Christmas featuring their names and their children’s/grandchildren’s, whom they love dearly. They were head over heels in love with the canvas, which sits proudly in their room. Everybody has commented on how lovely and personal it is, including my lovely granddad. This was especially important to hear, as he recently passed away due to pancreatic cancer. My nan is so grateful for the canvas, as it cherishes their life together.

Your work is inspiring and I’m sure you make a lot of families happy with your great and personal gift ideas.

Wedding Memoirs

Nikki Andrews

My boyfriend and I had been together 8 and a half years on the 12th July 2014 so we celebrated by getting married on that day! As a wedding gift I got him typography of love framed heart with all our meaningful keywords inside it. He really loves it and takes pride of place as a centerpiece on our wall and our wedding photos that surround it. So personal and special to us both he doesn’t do DIY but this was the first thing he managed to hang up with no problems! Lol

Truly Inspiring

Sophie Charlesworth

This lady, I have the privilege of knowing, is an extremely inspirational woman who recently shaved all her hair off in memory of a baby son who developed Group B Streptococcus (GBS) and died from the infection 15 hours after being born on Mother’s Day. Sophie has a gorgeous family and two beautiful children, she asked me to create a frame for each one of her children including one for her baby Jake – They all hang in their living room, each one bringing love, happiness and comfort to Sophie and her family.

Best Friend

Bev Smith

I lost my Dad recently after a battle with cancer, we were given the horrendous news that he only had 2 weeks to live. My Dad was my best friend and I have made sure I had lots of pictures of him around my house. We shared a love of football and always went on holiday to Italy. He was funny, clever, cool… A legend! As well as my photos, I wanted something that was more special to capture all my memories and those special moments we shared together. The sensitive and caring way Typography Of Love catered for exactly what I wanted was amazing!

The day I opened my frame I was lost for words! Tears rolled down my face but not in a sad way, but because of how beautiful it was. It now has pride of place on my wall. I can’t thank you enough for the wonderful work you have done.

All you need is love

Kirsty Green

I wanted to get my mum and dad something special for their 26th wedding anniversary and a personalised TOL frame did just that. They are so special and I don’t know what id do without them. The picture in the frame was on their wedding day, I hope that one day I will be as happy and as wonderful as they are. All you need is love, love is all you need.

Christine Groves

For my parents anniversary of 35 years I wanted something different ,unique personal. Something that made people look twice. I came across Typography Of Love awhile ago and loved the beautiful frames. The picture frame hangs proudly in my mums living room, the words placed within the frame represent the many years of love.

The Rainbow Room

Scott & Kerry Collins

We sadly lost our baby at 21 weeks and called her Pixie. We wanted to do some charity work to raise money to build a rainbow room within Barnsley hospital dedicated to help support bereaved parents.

“After every storm there comes a rainbow but you won’t see the rainbow if you are looking down”. This quote meant a lot to us and gave us hope. Mel kindly donated a gorgeous and unique frame to both Barnsley hospital and our family, and it beautifully embodies this quote.

Massive thank you, your kindness means so much.

Treasured Moments

Chloe Scott

When I won TOL’s and Minnie’s Boutique’s competition I was so delighted! My mum had just ordered a TOL canvas for my room for my birthday that I could hang in my new home when I move out… So you can imagine how excited I was when I found out I was getting another! Having just celebrated my 19th birthday, I thought that having a photo of me and my boyfriend would be perfect, as I love treasuring special moments with my loved ones. It now hangs pride of place above my bed. I couldn’t be happier!

Some Me Time

Robyn Scott

Since the happy arrival of my two precious children I have never had my own room. First I shared with my little daughter, as she loved sleeping in my bed. I then had my gorgeous son, who too loved sharing mine and my partners room. But once they finally started sleeping in their own rooms, it was mummy’s time to decorate her room and my TOL frame was the main feature. It’s perfect! It involves my partner my kids and all my fav things. So it’s my room finally but yet the kids are still part of it!

For My Mum

Katies Morris

The words of my Typography Of Love surround my mothers name. My mum lost a 2 year battle with cancer on the 14th March, all the words I chose for my frame describe her perfectly. She was so strong and determined not to let the cancer affect her life to much. I received my frame as a gift from a very good friend who asked me to describe my mum in 10 words. I didn’t know why but I did as she asked. My frame will forever remind me how amazing my mum was in my own words.

A Devoted Couple

Allison & Totty Bear

Our dear 47 yr old friend recently died suddenly. Of course his wife, and family have had their worlds turned upside down & stamped upon. They were an absolutely DEVOTED couple and so I wanted to do something really SPECIAL! A TOL frame of their Wedding Day surrounded by all the words that were SO special to them was the obvious & most perfect choice of gift. Needless to say, our friend Allison LOVES her frame and it will serve as a reminder of her life with her one true love forever!

One Of A Kind!

Keeley Grindle

My first experience of TOL was winning a FB Competition where I chose a frame that had words of my family and love. Since then I have bought frames as gifts for most members of my family who are also completely in love with their uniqueness and individuality. These gifts are so personal and cannot be bought on the “typical” high street. Well done Mel you are a true star x

Perfect Gift for him!

Rebecca Leigh

I think we can all agree that getting gifts for men is not the easiest thing in the world. With it being my boyfriend’s 21st, I wanted to get him something that he would be able to keep but also something that he would love. The original ToL frame that Mel and I created was perfect and I think the words summed him up perfectly. His whole family loved it as much as he did and I really couldn’t have given him a better gift! Thank you Mel x
